Group sex is more than two consenting adults in the same sexual event. Logistics multiply: names, barriers, who touches whom, where clothes go, who stays the night. The fantasy is a tangle. The reality is a lot of talking before anyone is undressed.
Safer sex gets specific. Fluids that were acceptable in a closed couple may not be acceptable in a room of five. Gloves and condoms are easier to manage than unspoken assumptions. Anyone can leave without a speech.
Alcohol turns counting consents into guesswork. If you cannot keep track of who agreed to what, the group is too drunk or too large. Jealousy in established couples deserves a plan, not a test designed to prove toughness.
Aftercare still exists when there are extra bodies. Water, a shower queue, and a ride home are part of hosting.
