🧲 Attraction

Emotional or physical pull toward another person that may include sexual interest.

Attraction

Attraction is the pull toward another person. It can be sexual, romantic, aesthetic, or a mix that refuses to sit in one drawer. A face across a train car can do it. So can a voice on a long call. The body often votes before the story about why has been written.

Sexual attraction wants contact or the idea of contact. Romantic attraction wants closeness, pairing, a future tense. They travel together for many people and split for others. Asexual people can still feel romantic pull. Aroused people can want bodies without wanting a relationship.

Context edits the signal. Safety, sleep, hormones, and whether someone reminds you of a past disaster all change who lights up the room. Attraction is information, not a contract. Acting on it still needs consent and timing.

Trying to argue yourself out of attraction rarely works. Deciding what to do with it is the adult part.
