The Sybian is a saddle you sit on. A motor in the housing vibrates and can rotate an insertable attachment that rises from the seat. The rider controls speed with a wired box. It is loud, heavy, and famous enough that the name stands in for a whole class of riding machines.
Attachments screw on and should be snug. A loose attachment under body weight is how plastic threads strip. The seat is vinyl on the original style of machine and wants a wipe-down, not a soak. Earplugs are not a joke if you live in an apartment.
Because the machine does not get tired, riders do. Plan how you will lift off if your legs shake. A chair nearby helps. Start on low rotation. The combination of fill plus spin plus vibration is a lot of input at once.
Housekeeping
- Place the base on a nonslip mat.
- Keep the control box where a hand can find it without looking.
- Inspect attachment threads every time.
- Give the motor rest between long sessions.
