Tail plugs attach a faux animal tail to a butt plug base. The tail can be fur, silicone, or horsehair. The plug does the holding. The tail does the posture: it changes how the wearer sits, walks, and thinks about the rear of their body.
Weight of a long tail pulls on the plug. A short, light tail is easier to wear around a house. Real hair tails need the same care as a wig and should be removable from the plug so you can wash one without boiling the other. Fur glued permanently to a porous plug is a sanitation headache.
Floors catch tails. Chairs catch tails. Closing a door on a tail is a specific and memorable pain. The wearer needs hands-free space and a partner who watches where they step.
Wear
- Match plug size to skill, not to how dramatic the tail looks.
- A swivel where tail meets base reduces torque on the sphincter.
- Do not sleep in a long tail.
- Keep the tail out of other people’s food. That should not need saying and still does.
