Suction stimulators seal a cup over the clitoris or a nipple and lower the pressure inside. Some are manual squeeze bulbs. Some motorize the pulse. The tissue swells into the cup and feels more sensitive to whatever happens next, including a sudden release of the seal.
Fit is a little goldilocks problem. Too wide and the cup grabs labia or areola you did not mean to include. Too narrow and it pinches. A drop of water on the rim helps. Hair breaks seals and then the motor sounds busy while nothing happens.
Bruising is possible if you chase a stronger vacuum instead of a better rim seal. Short cycles beat one long pull. Release the vacuum before you peel the cup off.
Use
- Start with the smallest vacuum that still holds.
- Keep cups clean; cloudy plastic hides old lube.
- Do not use on numb or freshly pierced tissue.
- Pair with a light vibrator after the tissue is swollen if you like stacked sensation.
