Ovipositor toys belong to fantasy play. The shaft is a delivery tube. Soft eggs, usually silicone or gel, load into the toy and are pushed out inside the body, then later expelled or removed by a retrieval string. The appeal is the fill and the story, not speed.
Eggs must be too big to lose and too smooth to scrape. A flared base on the ovipositor is still required for anal play. Count the eggs going in and coming out. If the math fails, you do not wait overnight to see what happens.
Gel eggs can tear. Silicone eggs last longer and wash. Do not use anything that could dissolve or swell. This is not the place for kitchen experiments. Lube the tube and the eggs. Dry eggs stick in the chamber and jam the plunger.
Safety
- Only use eggs sold for this purpose.
- Give every egg a cord if the design allows.
- Skip this play if you could be pregnant or have an IUD you are worried about dislodging; ask a clinician if unsure.
- Wash the barrel where eggs sat.
