Cyberskin is a trade name that stuck to a family of soft, lifelike TPE blends. Sleeves and dildos made from it dent under a fingertip and warm quickly in the hand. That realism is why people buy it. Porosity is why they complain later.
The surface drinks lube and holds odor if washing is lazy. After a session, invert the sleeve if you can, wash with mild soap, rinse well, let it dry fully, then dust with cornstarch or the powder the maker ships. Sealed in a sweaty drawer it can get tacky or even tack to itself.
Do not boil Cyberskin. Do not use silicone oil on it unless the manufacturer says the blend can take it. A condom over the toy solves a lot of sanitation questions when partners change. Expect to replace these pieces sooner than a platinum silicone dildo.
Upkeep
- Dry on a stand so the canal is not collapsed while damp.
- Keep away from dyes that migrate, including some cheap garments.
- Trim loose surface pills; do not peel large sheets.
- Retire if the material tears or stays sour after a wash.
