Hell is a place of eternal punishment for the wicked. It is the place of separation from God. It is the place of outer darkness. It is the place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. It is the place of fire. It is the place of torment. It is the place of death. It is the place of destruction. It is the place of judgment. It is the place of wrath. It is the place of punishment. It is the place of the devil. It is the place of his angels. It is the place of the damned. It is the place of the lost. It is the place of the unbelieving. It is the place of the impenitent. It is the place of the wicked. It is the place of the unrighteous. It is the place of the unforgiven. It is the place of the unsaved. It is the place of the second death. It is hell.

Hell is described in the Bible. It is a furnace. It is a lake of fire. It is a prison. It is a pit. It is a dungeon. It is a abyss. It is a bottomless pit. It is a fire. It is a worm. It is a darkness. It is a separation. It is a death. It is a destruction. It is a punishment. It is a judgment. It is a wrath. It is a vengeance. It is a torment. It is a pain. It is a sorrow. It is a regret. It is a memory. It is a thirst. It is a hunger. It is a loneliness. It is a hopelessness. It is a despair. It is a forever. It is hell.

Hell in scripture

• Matthew 25:41: depart into eternal fire.
• Mark 9:48: where their worm does not die.
• Luke 16:23: in Hades, being in torment.
• 2 Thessalonians 1:9: eternal destruction.
• Revelation 20:15: the lake of fire.

Hell is real. It is certain. It is terrible. It is avoidable. Christ came to save us from hell. He took our punishment. He died in our place. He rose again. He offers forgiveness. He offers eternal life. He offers heaven. The choice is yours. Life or death. Heaven or hell. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. That is the gospel. That is the good news. That is the escape. That is the hope. That is the way. That is the truth. That is the life. No one needs to go to hell. But many will. Because they reject the gift. Because they reject the Savior. Because they reject the love. Hell is the consequence. Hell is the judgment. Hell is the end of those who refuse God. Hell is real. Hell is coming. Hell is waiting. But you do not have to go. You can be saved. You can be forgiven. You can be free. You can go to heaven. The choice is yours. Choose life. Choose Christ. Choose heaven. Avoid hell.
