Toy wipes are pre-moistened cloths for a quick pass over a non-porous toy when a sink is not available. They live in a nightstand for a reason. They do not replace a wash after anal play or after a marathon session with thick lube.

The cloth should be unscented or lightly scented enough that you would accept it on skin. Citrus oils and a long ingredient list are a poor match for mucosa. One wipe per toy face is better than one wipe for the whole drawer.

Close the pack so the stack does not dry into sandpaper. Used wipes go in the trash, not the toilet, unless the pack is explicit about flushing, and even then plumbing may disagree.

When they help

• Between partners if you also use condoms on the toy.
• On a wand head during a long session.
• On hands before you touch a phone.
• Not as the only cleaning step for textured TPE.
