A thong harness is a minimal strap-on: a front O-ring panel, a waist strap, and a thin rear string. It hides under clothes better than a jock and leaves less padding between the wearer and the dildo base. That closeness can feel good and can bruise if the base is small and hard.
The rear string rides where thong underwear rides. Wrong size and it becomes a cutting line. Look for a wider, flatter rear strap if you plan more than a short scene. Side snaps help you get out of the thing without a puzzle.
Thin harnesses love to twist. A rigid backing plate behind the ring keeps the dildo from yawing. If you use a heavy steel toy, this is the wrong harness category.
Fit
- The rear strap should lie flat, not roll into a cord.
- Walk and sit before play.
- Have a spare O-ring; thong panels rarely offer two sizes on the fly.
- Wash the string. It collected more than the waistband.
