An O-ring harness is the simplest strap-on frame: straps and a ring. The dildo’s neck sits in the ring, the base stays behind it, and the wearer tightens the hips. Rings come in fixed sizes or as a set of interchangeable diameters.
A single thin ring can dig into the base of a heavy dildo and tilt the shaft downward. A wide leather or silicone washer behind the ring spreads that load. If your favorite dildo has no neck, this style of harness will fight you. Vac-U-Lock or a wide flared base works better.
Hardware should not sit on a nerve at the hip. Walk, sit, and thrust at the air before you involve another body. Cheap clips fail at the worst moment. Two snaps where one would do is not overkill.
Ring choices
- Measure the dildo neck, not the head.
- Keep a slightly larger ring for dual-density toys that compress.
- Replace cracked plastic rings; they split without warning.
- Leather rings need an occasional wipe with a conditioner that is skin-safe once dry.
