Jewel plugs put a faceted glass or acrylic stone on the outside face of a butt plug. The insertable part is usually a short steel or silicone bulb. The look is the point: a glint at the top of the cleft when someone is undressed or wearing something that does not quite cover.
Stones glued to cheap bases fall off. A well-made plug sets the jewel in a bezel that will not twist free under a towel. Weight from a steel bulb can feel surprisingly heavy for such a short toy. Sit down slowly the first time.
Acrylic jewels scratch and look cloudy after a few months in a pouch with keys. Treat the face like costume jewelry. The insertable metal can still take a boil if there is no glue; many jewel plugs cannot. Wipe and dry.
Wearing
- A smaller bulb is typical; this is not a long-wear training plug for most people.
- Check the bezel before every use.
- Do not sleep on a large pointed jewel.
- If the stone is porous glue-set acrylic, do not share the plug.
