A double-penetration dildo carries two shafts on one base so one wearer can fill vagina and anus at the same time, or so a harnessed partner can offer both. The shafts are usually different lengths, with the anal arm slimmer.
Alignment is the hard part. Bodies are not parallel rails. A flexible junction between the arms helps them splay. Rigid Y-shaped toys demand a very specific angle and often more warmup than people budget for.
Lube each shaft separately. Insert the anal arm first if that side is tighter, then settle the vaginal arm. If either side burns, come back out and add size training on singles before combining them. After play, wash the crotch of the Y where the arms meet. That fork hides residue.
Prep
- Be comfortable with each kind of penetration on its own first.
- A harness with good alignment beats trying to hold a Y-shape by hand.
- Go slower than you would with a single dildo.
- Check that both bases or the shared base cannot slip inside.
