An anal hook is a curved rod with a rounded insertion end and an eye or ring at the other. Once the bulb sits inside the rectum, the shaft follows the cleft of the buttocks. A collar, rope, or hair tie-off can then pull the hook upward, which keeps the wearer kneeling or standing with a constant inward tug.
Stainless steel is the usual material because it holds shape under tension. Silicone-coated versions exist for people who dislike cold metal. The inserted end must be fully smooth, with no seams that could scrape mucosa when the rope tightens.
This is restraint gear as much as a sex toy. A partner should stay within reach. A cutter for rope and a plan to slacken the line immediately belong next to the bed. Hooks with a very tight curve can pinch if the wearer sits down suddenly, so posture is part of the scene, not an afterthought.
Safety points
- Inspect welds and the retrieval eye before every use.
- Never attach a hook to a load-bearing ceiling point without rated hardware.
- Keep lube at the insertion point so the bulb does not drag when the line shifts.
- Agree on a nonverbal signal if a gag is also in play.
