Training for sports is as much mental as physical. The best athletes I've coached were the ones who prepared their minds as hard as their bodies.

Employee training is often the first thing cut when budgets get tight and that's always a mistake. People need to keep growing.

Overtraining is a real problem. More isn't always better. Rest and recovery are part of training too.

The best training I ever had was hands on and practical. Death by PowerPoint doesn't teach anyone anything.

Interesting that this shares the same term as workplace training. Context really changes the meaning entirely.

Definition is accurate but training for management is different from training for technical skills. Both matter.
